Cub Scouting has program components for boys in the first through fifth grades (or ages 6 to 10). The boys join a Cub Scout pack and are assigned to a den of about 8 boys in their grade. The rank of the scouts in a Den is determined by grade: Tiger Cubs (First-graders), Wolf Scouts (second-graders), Bear Scouts (third-graders), and Webelos I (fourth-graders), and Webelos II (fifth-graders).
The Dens are led by one of the parents in the Den who serves as Den Leader. Den meetings are scheduled by the Den Leader -- usually one or two a month. Once a month, all of the dens and family members gather for a pack meeting under the direction of a Cubmaster. The Pack Committee runs the pack and it made up of parents of boys in the pack. Contact one of the Pack Leaders for more information.
Any boy in first through fifth grades join scouting at anytime during the year, but most new boys sign up in September. The annual dues is $60 which includes a subscription to Boys' Life magazine. The Pack has an annual fundraiser in the Fall
selling popcorn which raises most of the money for the year's activities.
